So much to say about the slippers. They are beautiful in every way, I had a hard time choosing a color. I finally decided upon the chestnut in a size 9 when I typically wear an 8 1/2. They are not tight at any point. Maybe I should’ve ordered an eight because I feel more secure when wearing them with socks. Which defeats the purpose because you cannot enjoy the plush feel of the fur beneath your feet. I love the look of the lug soul, however, if you are not use to having almost a 2 inch lift they can be dangerous. The first time I stepped out of them I almost fell flat on my face. If you are looking for an orthopedic shoe, look elsewhere. They are very firm and have no arch support. After wearing them all day, just doing chores through the house. My feet are usually killing me when I take them off at night. However, it does get me a nightly foot rub from my significant other. I’ve had these slippers for close to two years now and they still look just as good as the day I got them out of the box. They’re easy to take care of, just have to spot clean with a damp rag. They are perfect when wearing them out to get the mail or take out the trash, but I would not suggest wearing them out to your local mall for a long day of shopping. Like I said, you have a 50-50 shot of absolutely loving them, or returning them. I’m glad that I got mine at a discounted price around the holidays. So good luck. I hope this review helps you.

So, at first, I thought these shoes were very stiff and was not sure I liked them. I wore them around the house for a few days to see if they would loosen up a bit... Finally, one night I said that's it they are still too stiff I am going to return them. As I took them off to inspect them to put them back in the box, I noticed that I never took the cardboard inserts out of them!!!!! I am such a ding bat!!!!!! I quickly took them out and tried them back on and AAAWWWWWWW they were amazing!!! Super comfortable and true to size. I can't believe I didn't see these inserts prior to wearing them.... Definitely would purchase other colors. I really love them!

Love these slippers. They are very comfortable. Fit is true to size. Look good. I would caution people to get used to walking in them before going out side. I tripped when walking on pavement for the first time. You need to make sure you pick ur feet up when walking. They are a little high in the sole. I got them in the grey color. They are really nice and warm.

I like vs. love these slippers. They are warm and comfortable with a wonderful sole. The only significant negative (hence 4 stars) is that the lining is thin, ARTIFICIAL "fleece" vs genuine Australian lambswool. Even LL Bean (an American company) uses genuine Australian lambswool in the construction of their slippers for the same price point. There's NO reason that slippers- manufactured by a company named "Koolaburra" and associated with UGG - should skimp on artificial lining. I do not know how long the artifical lining will hold up, so unsure about recommendation.
